It's a perfect size for people on the go. It's a cute size, but don't let that fool you. It gets pretty hot on the lid so be careful when handling it. The lid is removable, and the plastic locks snap into the plastic side (no small metal rods) of the rice cooker. About 2 servings. Most likely, I'll be using it for my oatmeal. I'm afraid of scratching the inside pot even with the plastic spoon given. Because once it's scratched up, you can't find a replacement for the pot, but to get a new one.
This rice cooker is just like most rice cookers. You make sure you don't overflow the pot with water and adjust according to the type of rice because the liquid will most likely leak when bubbling. Too bad the top isn't see through. Most likely instead of having it in the "keep warm" tab, unplug it, keep it cover, and let the rice sit and steam about 10 mins. in order for the rice to not sick.
